Transitional Living Specialist - Kearney
Christian Heritage faith-based ministry seeks Transitional Living Specialist to assist youth with independent living in Central Nebraska. This individual will be responsible for regular contact and life skills instruction with the youth in our Transitional Living Program. This position’s main functions include: assisting youth with securing and retaining employment, providing face-to-face consultations and Life Skills training, coordinating with other service providers connected with the youth, and completing monthly documentation and reports. This is a part-time, hourly position, but it is expected this person be available to offer 24-hour crisis support to the youth. This individual must have a heart for serving the Lord and compassion for the youth in our care.

Foster Care Specialist - Omaha
Christian Heritage faith-based ministry seeks Foster Care Family Specialist for our Omaha office. This individual is primarily responsible for supporting, equipping, and educating new and current foster parents on how to effectively care for the at-risk children and youth placed in the homes of foster parents. They help ensure a safe, caring, and nurturing environment within each foster home and maintain regular contact with the youth and foster families. This person is responsible for completing regular reports and service plans for the youth on their caseload. The Foster Care Specialist helps youth progress toward their specific permanency objectives and coordinates with the team of service providers working with the youth. This is a full-time position that requires staff to be available 24 hours a day to provide consultation support to foster parents. This individual must have a heart for serving the Lord and compassion for the youth in our care.
